By far one of my favorite albums released this year. I highly recommend any fans of the whole Sludge/Post Metal scene check this out, though honestly any avid listener of metal or progressive music should give this album a couple of spins.

Deafheaven - Violet →
This band has a lot of controversy surrounding them. Are they a Black Metal act? I say no, but I don’t think that should take away from the fact that while not perfect Deafheaven’s newest output “Roads to Judah” is a great listen, regardless of what you would like to label it.
